I love shrikhand on breads, chapatis, dosas and even as it is. Nice pic..
Lovely recipe faiza. I wish the picture was a litle bit more clear.
No problem Smitha . Even i was thinking the same. I am changing the picture now :)
I am not familiar with some of the terms, such as hung yogurt, but I like yogurt very much. Is it like Greek yogurt, that is, very thick? The rest of the ingredients sound delicious and would make a lovely dish indeed.
Katy, Hung yogurt is nothing but very thick yogurt. You should hang the yogurt in a muslin cloth for sometime or till all the water drips from it. It comes out very thick.
Hope I answered your question :)And indeed it turns out lovely and Yummy with Apricot on it.
Never tried Shrikhand, though it sounds scrumptious!
Please accept an award from my blog.
Apricots in Shrikhand sounds like a great idea..one doubt though, can I replace fresh apricots with dried ones??
And thanks Shanti for the award :)
Divya, Actually the fresh apricots look very colorful and tastes yummy with the shrikhand. The dried apricot gives different color and will make a difference. But I guess it will not make a huge difference though.
Love it very much!!!Apricots shri kand sounds inviting!!!
